If you don’t have any pressing engagements tomorrow morning, consider donating your time to helping Keep Jacksonville Beautiful, by participating in the St. Johns River Celebration Annual Cleanup.

This event is Jacksonville’s kick-off event for the Florida Great American Cleanup, a local and national effort to clean and protect the environment.

With twenty-four clean up sites to choose from, there’s plenty of opportunity to help out in a spot convenient to you. Site captains will be on hand to register volunteers and to provide trash bags, gloves and tickets.

Tickets? That’s right. Tickets may be redeemed for refreshments and t-shirts at Metropolitan Park downtown from 12 – 2 p.m.

What are you waiting for?
