The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has created a designation that recognizes hotels dedicated to reducing waste and protecting our natural resources. To be qualified, there are a series of guidelines that the applying lodging facility must complete. North Florida Recycling offers the recycling services necessary for hotels seeking Florida Green Lodging Status and applauds those who have shown a commitment to the environment through their participation.
